I've had the same problem as of now, so I checked my File Garden Account and apparently the domain got blocked. It says my files are fine, but I'm still having the same problem, so I'm still not sure.
Maybe use another image hosting site. I previously used FileGarden when it came to uploading the images to use in Party Project, but then I used Igmur [and now I understand how it worked to get the link for image*] the custom charaters's sprites are working for me.
It maybe time consuming but move the images from FileGarden to another Image hosting website, and try either copying the link/address of the image, and paste it to the .json file of which the image belongs to
*Igmur was the 1st image hosting site that I used for Party Project, but due to not understanding how to copy the image's address and instead copied the link, I switched to FileGarden to host the images instead
hey, i found some suspicious files in my computer in /Application\ Support/party. with nwjs and some weird extentions. apptemping to download crome-extentions://bnapokdjomddpphfedpdefloifnbmmnd/index.html. only app with nwjs and a similar name is this app. Do you know anything about this?
No matter what I do, my custom character becomes a weird square. Idk what the hell happened but I'm sure I did everything right. Even followed everything in the "README." Nothing's working.
I can't get new characters to work, I feel like the "uploading to a image host and downloading back" thing, should be changed, and not just due to my experience, it's also redundant .
Make sure that the image hosting site works (Igmur is a good example), and that you copy the address of the image within the website, to the .json file for the custom character.
well... Creating a Custom Board is Not allowed sadly... but i'll create one.
It's Called "Pals' Green Hill Zone". Almost Similar to Green Hill zone from Sonic 1. If you get a star, it will go to the star spot like normal but it will turn into a Shadow Star. I swear to god now. It was too long to create this. FUCK.
Plug in a controller for each player and map them to your [and their] liking [you may need a multi USB for this though depending on how many players are playing]
*Bluetooth controllers connected to the device won't work, they need to be connected via a USB cable to the device's USB port
*There's an option to let the players swap between the keyboard and controller
*If you're using a keyboard, make sure you either remember your keys, or write them down somewhere so you can use it as a reference sheet for what each one does
Also, in some minigames like Manor of Escape and What Goes Up..., when all 4 players finish at the exact same time (such as when they're all being controlled by one person), the finishing whistle is much louder (I assume it's played 4 times, once for each player finishing), and every player gets 40 coins (and I would assume 80 if it's a lucky minigame).
I assume what's going on is that there's like a flag set when the minigame ends to award the winner(s) 10 coins, and, since I assume all 4 players are ending it separately, it sets 4 of these flags and awards all of the winners 10 coins 4 times each for 40 coins.
Side note, I don't think random lucky minigames can have a 3x multiplier, or, at least, I haven't seen it when I've played (but I do think I've seen it in videos of earlier versions).
Not sure if this has been documented yet, but in Kabob and Weave, if multiple players get eliminated when the minigame ends, then all but one of those players are considered to have won.
For the following screenshots, the port order is Ferc, Mat, Bee, Silvia
Ferc, Bee, and Silvia all get eliminated.Bee and Silvia still win, even though they shouldn't.
On Mario's Rainbow Castle, if you get reverse shroomed onto the start space, you get stuck there for the rest of the game. At the start of your turn it says you're still under the effects of the reverse shroom and after rolling you move off of start and then immediately back on. When it first happened to me, I got warp boxed off of start after one turn of being stuck, but the reverse shroom continued to take effect for a couple turns before reverting to normal. After that game, I went back to test it and made sure it was repeatable. I figure this bug also affects similar boards, though I didn't test it.
Also, unsure if this is a bug or my luck being weird, but the Judge bonus star seems extremely common for me. It shows up as the first bonus star in almost every game I play. Similarly, the Minigame star also shows up a lot though isn't quite as common and always shows up as the last bonus star. My bonus star ruleset has the game choose 3 randomly, and the only ones not active are chance time and pitygame. All others are +1. And now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I've seen the Slowpoke bonus ever, so could it be that the chance to spawn Slowpoke is accidentally being counted towards Judge since they're next to each other in the list?
Anyways, good job with the game so far! It's really fun!

Also, by using a Mystery Box, you can get another Mystery Box, meaning if you're really unlucky, you can get soflocked. Due to how rare this is, it isn't an issue, but it might be something worth fixing

Never mind, File Garden should work now. I checked my characters and they turned out A-O-good.
