I'm still having this issue. I played the browser version of this game and it runs at a smooth and fast frame rate. Yet for some reason when I try to play this game on my PC the framerate is slower and even the timer is slower.
I also have the problem with the infinite loading bar. It helped before to make an empty cache reload of the page. But now this has become more unreliable. :I Can someone please explain the download and install progress for dummies?^^'
This is happening in the desktop version, not the web version; when I open the game, there's a sort of red bar instead of the blue one that should be there, and just as it's finishing loading, the game freezes.

im having a really weird issue with my controller where the dpad direction mapping gets changed in certain minigames. when navigating menus and in most minigames, it's mapped correctly, but in iron cannons, daisy chain, and shock absorbers (and maybe in others i didnt test them all) up is the same, but left controls right, right controls down, and down controls left. this is especially unfortunate since these are minigames where i would greatly prefer to use the dpad over the control stick. is there something in the code for these minigames that assumes the dpad is mapped a certain way? (the game is awesome by the way, i love the original character designs especially)
With the new CPU customization features of when they will use stickers and what items they prefer, do each of the characters in the game have their own customized CPU? Asking just out of pure curiosity. Love the game!
Sue took everything from me! I could beat her at minigames, but she stole every coin and star I got my hands on, then the other CPUs would just give to her through Chance squares. She mocked me every round as divine power just gave and gave to her.
Loved every moment, the minigames were tons of fun! 10/10 would definitely play again!
I just watched a Vernias video and noticed that the sprites are made by Char themself...
May I have a copy of the sprites pretty please? I kinda don't want to use the Exsio ones whenever I play by myself. And also it ticks me off that their Eevee front icon has been refined and the others aren't.

Sooo... I have a bit of a problem. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem too, but methinks it's important to share. None of my custom characters are working properly. I tried going a clean slate to see if having too many modded characters was the problem, but no. I then had to make my File Garden files public, but no cigar. I have run out of ideas on what else is going wrong. if anybody is having this problem right now, please let me know.
Hey there, is there a way to just store custom characters locally? I tried using "file:///" as a local URI for custom sprites, but it doesn't seem to work?
EDIT: Figured it out. For anyone who wants to do this, make sure the URI path uses all forward slashes, you'd think it'd still use backslashes because it's a file path but Java will be Java. Example: "urlSprites": "file:///C:/YourPathHere/PartyProject/chara/chrSprites.png"
Other than some slight balancing icks - this game is peak, hype, the ab-so-loute best! I have already made sprites n' all the stuff xd I would with out a doubt pay for the 1.0 and future game releases. Even just a small tip for the hilarious experience
You're gong to need a .json file as well as a image hosting site in order to make and load your custom character
The image hosting site will hold the sprites for the character
and the .json file load the image into the game
Download the custom character template and use [or make a copy of] the .json file located in the .zip file upon decompressing it, then upload your sprites [images] to an image hosting site [igmur a good option], once all of the sprites have been uploaded copy the image address to the specified area that the image [Player start sprite -> Player Start spot, Front sprite -> Front spot, ect.].
Once all those steps are done, boot up Party Project, click the "Custom Characters" tab, click Choose files and the .json you want to load [or drag and drop it into the game, while in the custom characters tab]

There's a problem...

I've played the game before, and let me tell you, it's a really good game.
Most of the time it's because the files NodeWebkit reads are either missing or corrupted, or the code in the data.js JavaScript file is broken.
Try downloading the game again and see if it works.
There's a bug (I don't know if it's known) where when a CPU use a double dip, the game freezes... Two games in a row and still buggy...

They do! Stickers for base-game CPUs were tested in the previous build, but not many noticed

There's a bug in the newest version when ya have the purchase infinite shop items setting on. The CPU buys and sells non-stop till they have 0 coins
