[ v0.6x ] A Little of Everything


A lot of new things, as well as the usual bugfixes and balance changes, both on the board and minigames.

Desert has been removed while it gets a revamp.

BOARD

Changes:

  • Plus Die: Coins gained increased to 2x your roll
  • Minus Die: Coins lost increased to 2x your roll
  • Item Space: Player now rolls a block to get an item
  • Grab Bag: Price increased (35 > 40)
  • Item shops now offer 7 items instead of 6
  • Midway Madness:

Launch pads added as happenings

Coaster events now work according to what side the ride is on

  • Starlight Sanctuary:

Ghost moved to bottom area to mitigate spam

Extra battle space added to top right

  • Hidden Blocks:

ON setting now makes hidden blocks move when found instead of disappearing

Previous mode still available by setting custom amount to 3

  • E Gadd’s Garage: Added missing star spawn on the wheel
  • Towering Treetop: Lucky / Unlucky Spaces now swap depending on daytime
  • Clockwork Castle: Chase mechanic added
  • Viewing the map while reversed now shows where you’re landing

Fixes:

  • Tycoon Town:

Fixed bug where path destinations would miscount around the top left

Unlucky event can no longer take a star if you have no coins

Final Five event can no longer be ‘Free Stars’

  • DK’s Treetop Temple: Fixed bug where path destinations would miscount around the center
  • Ghost now properly picks a random player when choosing to steal from random
  • During a duel, only players involved can enable practice
  • Fixed a blue space counting as 2 in the Final Results when finding a hidden block
  • Fixed distance calculator when factoring day/night exclusive spaces
  • Fixed possiblity of getting item bag/grab bag when selecting to keep a mystery item

MINIGAME

Changes:

  • Tank-Down: Bullet speed increased (150px > 175px)
  • Propeller Peril:

Renamed to Bumper Sparks

If timer runs out, player(s) with most HP win

Boost cooldown decreased (1.5s > 1s)

  • Rally Block: Counter changed to show coin icon
  • Iron Cannons:

Feedback added when bumping into another player

Buffer system added to make faster movements easier

  • Picking Panic: Throw angle adjustments to mitigate backwards throws
  • 100-Yard Hop: Time penalty for missing increased (0.5s > 1s)
  • Laser Focus:

Minimum distance required to break the diamonds increased (16px > 20px)

+1 text appears to show which team broke a diamond

  • Memory Tiles: Sprite added to indicate what tile is going to be selected
  • What Goes Up: Platforms move slower

Fixes:

  • Pair-A-Gone: Fixed ability to move while game is inactive
  • Fixed incorrect score displays in minigames with decimals
  • Shell Shocked: Shell spawns changed to fix “surprise shell” bug
  • Balancing Act: Fixed bug where battle coins are lost when getting a draw
  • Dragster: Mashing is no longer a viable strategy

ETC

  • You can now choose who to duel in freeplay
  • You can now choose different 2V2 teams in freeplay

HOTFIX v0.61

  • Clockwork Castle: Fixed Ztar host getting stuck when passing certain spaces

HOTFIX v0.62

  • Fixed battles and duels softlocking certain boards
  • Fixed keyboard inputs
