BOARD

Changes:

  • Kitchen: Layout modified to include second key gate
  • Rainbow Castle: Players can no longer get to the end of the board with a Reverse Shroom at the start
  • Starlight Sanctuary:

Spaces overhauled to add more happenings, junctions, and item spaces

Event added that lets you sell a star for 50 coins

4 junctions are now always randomly picked to be blocked, instead of rolling a 50/50 on all junctions

  • Tropical Island: Item space count increased (3 > 7)
  • Unlucky Space: Losing Coins event changed to Coin Giveaway, where lost coins are now given to last place
  • Players can now change their mind about a selected opponent in certain duel scenarios
  • Item Shops will now offer UP TO 8 items
  • E.Gadd’s Garage: Calamity Cannon event added

Fixes:

  • Eternal Star:

Fixed issue where Magic Lamp would bring up the incorrect prompt

Fixed Ztar Space not actually shuffling the warp machines

Fixed freeze that could occur when warp machines are changed

Target dice roll now rubberbanded with player’s rank

  • E.Gadd’s Garage: Fixed wheel not moving players properly
  • Wario’s Battle Canyon: Fixed ability to reverse into the top-left island from the top-right island
  • Horror Land: Fixed players not moving on Mr.I path when teleporting from top half
  • Fixed shop sometimes leaving out an item when Item RNG is set to Frantic
  • Fixed bug where Ghost could steal from a player with no stars after selecting yourself
  • Fixed Game Guy roulette moving at differing speeds under different framerates

MINIGAME

Changes:

  • Head Waiter: Players now must win a Best of 3

  • Fake Draw: Players now must win a Best of 3

  • Dungeon Dash: Yellow light added to indicate grace time and act as warning signal

  • Jump, Man!: Players can now move after half of the hitstun’s duration

  • Cloud Climb: Gravity decreased when falling down

  • Puzzle Party: Damage calculation modified to make combos stronger

  • Hand colors in cursor 2v2s changed to be slightly more distinct

  • Picture Match: 1 variant added

  • Bill Bounce: Stomp height made more lenient

  • Toad in the Box:

All roulette speeds slowed down significantly

Block distance from players slightly increased

  • Face Flip: Wait to select next card decreased (1s > 0.5s)
  • Hammergeddon:

Player hitboxes made smaller

Added 60 second timer

HP increased from 3 to 5

  • Button Mashers:

HP calculation changed to make first blocks more difficult

Visual feedback added to indicate HP left

  • Shell Shocked:

30s timer added

Shell spawnrate increased (10s > 7s)

  • Iron Cannons: Face buttons can now also be used to move

Fixes:

  • Puzzle Party:

Fixed incorrect scoring when clearing multiple blocks in one drop

Fixed ‘All Clear’ not sending any garbage

Fixed inability to rotate when too close to the death barrier

  • Odd Card Out: Fixed bug where all cards could be the same
  • Mushroom Mix-Up: Players can no longer die to the ceiling spikes when game is over
  • Face Flip: Fixed issue where point bubbles would appear when winning
  • Chain Event: Fixed issue where same scores sometimes wouldn’t tie
  • Balancing Act: Fixed issue where same scores sometimes wouldn’t tie

ETC

  • Enabling/Disabling practice will now unready all players
  • Battle coint payouts changed from 70/30/0/0 to 60/30~/10~/0

HOTFIX 0.82

  • Fixed Minus 5 Card being able to be overridden when status effect overrides are disabled
  • Fixed Bank Space not activating if player gets to it with 2 left on roll
