BOARD
changes:
- Board map arrows made wider (19.997 > 32)
- Added X to unavailable ghost space for better visual clarity
- Selection hand when using an item on a player now wraps around
- Only P1 can exit out of party mode results
- Minigame results ribbon sprite updated
- Bonus/lucky spaces specify that prize received is random
- Poison shroom and Minus Die now negate reverse shroom for status description consistency
- ai difficulty wont show on party mode results with 4 players
fixes:
- Fixed dice items not cancelling reverse shroom
- Fixed free cam movement jumping around / stuttering
- Fixed softlock when reloading after being reversed during previous turn
MINIGAME
changes:
- think ahead: coin sprite improved
- Danger, Bob-omb! Danger!: renamed to fireball frenzy
- hot rope jump: fireball hitbox made slightly smaller
- race to the finish:
added horizontal platform before ending as alternate path
block kill range made more lenient (pushes out if not close enough to the center)
block cooldown increased (0.1 > 0.15)
- trace race:
camera slowed down (1.2 > 1.1)
max speed lowered
- platform peril renamed to mushroom mixup
- mushroom mixup: platform sprites edited
- analog controls improved for topdown/cursor games
diagonals match speeds reached on D-Pad
- instructions updated on many minis
memory tiles: clarifies that there will be a preview for the tiles before starting
leaf leap: explains jumping up more clearly
fake draw: specifies correct signs by sprite instead of color
chainsaw: specifies mashing is alternating
Bomb Rally: explains that kicking has a cooldown
stampede: goal explanation changed from first to 20 wins, to 20 to finish
balloon blast bash: goal explained to be biggest balloon wins.
picture match: specifies that there is a time limit
chain event: reformatted + warning added for chain chomps’ speed
- chain event: background made brighter to see shadows more easily
- chainsaw: chain sprite near player changes according to how much is left
fixes:
- memory tiles: getting all 16 tiles will properly end the game again
- chainsaw: getting a tie works properly now
- picture match: boundaries increased to prevent clipping into other screens
- mario has been removed
ETC
- Keyboard config screen specifies its only for singleplayer mode
