BOARD
Changes:
- Revamped item sprites by @PlatforminMike
- Final five roulette speed increased (12fps > 18fps)
- Bowser Phone: No longer does events that can affect other players
- Unlucky Space:
Losing coins event: Amount lost is now based on rank
Coin Potluck event: Amount lost is now based on turn number
Shuffle: Swap method changed

+5 Card: Price increased (3 coins > 5 coins)

Battle Space: Removed 7 coin battles

Fanfare added to rolling doubles and triples

Dialogue added to bank space

Textboxes made slightly wider

Opening the map while on a space that asks to teleport will now show your destination

E Gadd’s Garage: Flair added coin vacuum event

Amount of hidden blocks generated at the start of the match reduced (4>3)

Swap Card changed to Barter Box to better reflect functionality

Pause Menu:
Now only P1 can exit the match
Added option to reload turn
Fixes:
- Removed ability to get unusable items when setting item rng to frantic
- Fixed softlock where AI would duel for coins when they only have a star
- Fixed AI softlocking at prize selection during duel prompts
- Fixed chance time issue where swapping everything doesn’t work if players had matching star or coin counts
MINIGAME
Changes:
- Color Correction: Timer shortened (30s > 15s)
- Reverse-A-Bomb: AI Improved
- Doors of Doom: Removed invisible wall at the end of the minigame
- Chain Event: Chomp fall speed slightly decreased
- Leaf Leap:
Renamed to Cloud Climb
Visual changes to platforms
Players who are falling are no longer frozen when the game ends- Leaf Leap:
- Hot-Rope Jump: Moved from FFA to Battle minigame
- Order Up: Messing up the order now resets the player’s board instead of locking them out of the round
- Stampede:
Moved from Battle to FFA minigame
Timer decreased to 30 seconds
- Frame Perfect: AI mash multiplier nerfed (8x > 8.5x)
- Real Smoothie: Cooldown for messing up decreased (1s > 0.5s)
- Frame Perfect: Score is now displayed
- Bomb Rally:
Time allowed to kick the bomb increased (0.5s > 0.6s )
Speed cap increased (0.4s > 0.3s)
Balancing Act: Timing for ‘Good’ is no longer frame perfect
Fixes:
- Fixed flashing keyboard controls on minigame instructions screen
ETC
- Removed ability to back out of Tournament mode by pressing back at instructions screen
- Fixed error where practice mode wouldn’t be disabled on entering freeplay
HOTFIX 39.1
- Head Waiter: Fixed ability to softlock game if anything other than the left and bottom face buttons were pressed
- Think Ahead: Fixed ability to stop timer by pressing anything other than the specified buttons
